Lettuce Lake Park

Heidi didn’t have to got to work until later this morning so Trey and I accompanied her up to north Tampa. While she was learning about counseling cancer patients we went to Lettuce Lake Park.  Take a look at the photos below and see if you can figure out why this lake is called “lettuce.” Trey got to see a turtle, an osprey, and lots of lizards and squirrels. He really wanted to see an alligator but we didn’t spot one.
