For the past couple weeks, Trey has been rocking on his hands and knees. He does fairly well going backwards, but is understandably frustrated that his toys get further away from him. He may lunge forward, but lands on his belly and face. Several times I have seen him pull both knees forward at once, but then he doesn’t know what to do with his hands. He even attempts the bear crawl every once in a while, but again, lands on his face. Like his parents, he is learning the art of staying up late to work on “projects.” I respond to his cries in the middle of the night only to find that he is on his hands and knees rocking back and forth, back and forth. He looks up at me in distress as if to say “Please help!I can’t stop!”
