A Beautiful View of a Festival

Our first stop on our road trip was the little town of Buena Vista, Georgia that was celebrating its annual Rural America Festival.  I’m not exactly sure what I expected to see but we were a bit disappointed by the festival. The Yatesville festival a couple weeks ago seemed to have a lot more “rural culture” about it.

All around the town square vendors were selling food and running prize games. Lots of churches had booths where they were selling cookies, hotdogs, and other food.  On the steps of the courthouse a local bluegrass band was playing some great tunes that Trey was quite fond of.
