We took a decent drive today (1hour) down to Cordele to the GA Veterans State Park. It was a bit of a let down, no playgrounds and an unkempt hiking trail. It does have a pretty neat disc golf course, model airplane field, and lots of fishing opportunities, but we weren’t really interested in any of those today.

The highlight of the day was when a train barreled down the tracks we had just been walking on. Thank goodness you can hear those things a mile a way. Trey was thrilled to see one whiz by so close.
