Largo Central Park

One of our favorite things about this area of Florida has been the number of parks and the quality of them. Today I took Trey to the Largo Central Park just 3 miles up the road from us. It was my first time there and I was very impressed. A 70-acre park in the heart of the city with a little kids train, fountains, arts center, library, and HUGE playground. Wow.

Unfortunately, a lot of other folks know how great the park is and it was packed! Several daycares brought buses of kids and released them into the playground – like wild animals. Trey had a wonderful time (despite being knocked over a couple times by some of the wildest of the wild animals) and he was quite enthraled with the fountains as well as the life-size sculptures of children scattered throughout the park.
