We went to the doctor for his 2 month check up today. Trey is now 11 pounds, 4 ounces and 22.5 inches long. He is right at the 50th percentile for weight and height. At least I’ll still be able to use the 0-3 months outfits a while longer with him.
Trey also got his first round of shots today. I had to hold him down while the nurse administered the shots. The look on his face was one of shock and confusion, then he started crying. I nursed him immediately after the shots and he fell fast asleep. I hate to see him in pain, but I have decided that the benefits of immunization outweigh the risks and the temporary discomfort of the needle.
