We found out through a friend that NASA had a one-day only mobile exhibit outside of Macon’s Museum of Arts and Sciences. The theme of the exhibit was “Driven to Explore” and has been touring the nation with an actual piece of moon rock that visitors can touch & feel.

It was wonderful explaining to Trey what exactly the moon rock was and how we (U.S.A!) had obtained it decades ago. He actually got to touch it (as did I) and as cheesy as it sounds, it was pretty stinkin’ awesome.
