Trey watched a lot of soccer over the past month during the World Cup. While I was in South Africa attending the USA v. Slovenia game he was told that I was there and might be on TV. From then on when watching the pre-game singing of national anthems he would watch closely as the camera panned across the players’ faces. As each player passed by he would say “That’s not my daddy. That’s not my daddy. That’s not my daddy…” until each player had been shown.

Once I got back he picked up on my actions while watching the games. Here he is imitating his father during the final World Cup game between the Netherlands and Spain.
