Unlike last year, we woke Trey up and took him to the roof where we watched (a few) fireworks and lit sparklers with Peggy Ozment and Sylvia Huey.

Our 3 month tour of duty is almost over and today we said goodbye to all the kind folks in Nalerigu.

It’s our last day in Nalerigu and there are some festivities going on. A lot of missionaries are in town and a new volunteer team arrived. At lunch we’re having a pig roast to welcome them and tonight ground nut stew to see us off!
Here’s Trey and his soon-to-be lunch:

Trey had a blast at church today. We were out in the middle of nowhere and had a church service under a tree. I’ve posted more photos of it over at our haunsinafrica.com blog.

Trey has really been enjoying the fall leaves around the hospital compound. Here the leaves fall from the dry weather though, not the cold.
