I was a bit nervous when I saw that the prediction poll only put the boys ahead by one vote (64-63) but that was enough to tip the scales. He was laying sideways so we couldn’t get a good face picture, but feel free to enjoy the picture of his crotch by clicking the image to the left.
Last night I was ordained as a deacon at my church. Though that has nothing to do with our baby website, I thought this photo that Heidi’s dad took certainly did. Have a look a the little bump on Heidi’s belly… you can see our little one starting to show!

As I was studying the other night, sitting still on the floor, I suddenly felt a tiny punch from the inside. I have experienced some strange feelings over the past week and a half that I thought maybe could have been the quickening or the baby’s first noticeable movements. I’m not totally sure that those times were the baby rather than my gurgling intestines. But this time, I wasn’t thinking about it, and my intestines were surprisingly still. So, I’m pretty sure that was it. All the books say that quickening usually occurs somewhere between week 18-22. I guess I’m right on target.
