We have really enjoyed hearing from friends and family over the past two weeks. It was rather odd, though, that our friends in Japan got the DVD before our friends in North Carolina and William’s grandparents in Tennessee. Oh well. I think everyone knows by now. Some of our friends and family couldn’t believe that we had been keeping it a secret so long. Since we have been planning for the past 2 years, it was easy to extend the secret for 2 more months. I think it would have been much more difficult to handle if people did know our plans and the plans weren’t coming to fruition. This way, nobody had expectations and it became a pleasant surprise.
